I feel that flowers are magnificent expressions of grace and
beauty. For centuries artists have strived to capture their
essence on canvas.
As a photographer and digital artist, I use technology to
achieve my artistic vision. The camera is my palette and the
computer is my canvas. I experiment with different artistic
effects to create a photographic image that is indistinguishable
from a painting.
My technique is to shoot floral bouquets and crop the image
to focus the viewer on individual elements that make their
own statement. My photos are natures own strong, vibrant, and
dramatic images united with an artist’s eye and a technologist’s
craft.
My intention is for the viewer to experience the breathtaking
magnificence of nature enhanced with photographic art.
